Changing your own password
Go to the Fergus Login Page and click the Forgot Password button.
Enter the email address you signed up with, then click Reset Password. A reset link will be sent to your inbox — this link is valid for 2 hours. If it expires, simply request a new one.
Note: If you were added to a Fergus account by someone else, you may need to enter a Username instead of an email address. If you're unsure what your username is, contact your Office Admin.
Changing a staff member's password
Who can do this: Only Master Admin users can reset passwords for other staff members.
Important: Resetting a staff member's password will log them out of all devices, including Fergus Go. They will need to log back in using the new password on all devices.
Go to Settings and click on Users from the side panel. Find and click on the staff member who needs their password reset.
Under the User Details tab, you'll see their Username or Login Email Address. Scroll to the bottom and click Reset Password.
A pop-up will appear with two options:
Send a reset link — Enter an email address for the staff member (this can be different from their login username/email). They'll receive an email with instructions to set a new password.
Create a temporary password — Fergus will generate a strong temporary password and display it on screen. Copy it and share it with the staff member directly. When they next log in via the Fergus web app, they'll be prompted to set a new permanent password. This new password can then be used to log in to the Fergus Go app as well.
