Cancelling Your Account
We're sorry to hear that Fergus didn't meet your expectations. To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:
⚠️ Important: Please make sure to export any data you need before cancelling. Once your subscription ends at the close of the month, your account will be locked. To regain access, you will need to reactivate a paid plan.
1. Click on your profile icon, which is located next to the Help (?) button.
2. Select "Settings."
3. Choose "Billing."
4. Click on "Manage Plans."
5. Finally, select "Cancel Subscription."
Important things to know
"Fergus bills in arrears — meaning you pay for a month of usage after it has been used, not in advance. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you request it, and your final invoice is generated on the 1st of the following month. See the timeline below for a full example."
How the billing timeline works
Here's a simple example of what happens when you cancel on 15 March:

Frequently Asked Questions
Why was I charged after I cancelled?
Fergus bills in arrears, which means you are charged for a month of service after it has already been used. If you cancelled during the month, your final bill covers that last active month. This is a one-time final charge — you will not be billed again after that.
What happens to my data after my account is locked?
Once your account is locked at the end of the month, you will no longer be able to access your data. To retrieve it, you will need to reactivate a paid plan (Basic or Professional). We strongly recommend exporting any important data before your cancellation takes effect.
Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?
Yes! You can reactivate your account at any time by choosing a paid plan — Basic or Professional. Contact our support team at support@fergus.com or visit Settings → Billing to resubscribe.
