Overview
Fergus now enables you to connect to Zapier using our new open API. Zapier allows you to integrate Fergus with thousands of popular apps, such as Google Sheets, HubSpot, MailChimp, Slack, and Typeform. Zapier is an easy-to-use integration platform that requires no coding and features a simple drag-and-drop interface.
In Zapier, you create a "Zap," which involves a trigger that starts the integration and one or more following actions. Fergus can serve as either a trigger or an action in Zapier. To find out more about how Zapier works, visit their Help Centre.
Please note: We’ve made it easy to connect Fergus with Zapier, but we do not create Zaps for individual customers. We suggest contacting a Zapier expert or a reliable IT partner if you require assistance setting up a flow.

Fergus as a Trigger in Zapier
When Fergus acts as a trigger, it starts your automation by detecting when something happens in your Fergus account. For example, you could set up a Zap that triggers when a new job is created, a customer is added, or an invoice is generated in Fergus. This trigger then kicks off actions in other apps like sending notifications to Slack, creating tasks in project management tools, or updating spreadsheets.
Fergus as an Action in Zapier
When Fergus serves as an action, it receives data from other apps to perform tasks within your Fergus account. For instance, when a new lead comes through your website contact form or CRM, Zapier can automatically create a new customer record in Fergus, generate a job, or update existing information without manual data entry.
Practical Examples
Trigger example: "When a job is marked complete in Fergus → send a follow-up email via Gmail"
Action example: "When a new row is added to Google Sheets → create a new customer in Fergus"
This dual functionality means Fergus can initiate workflows and be the destination for data from your other business tools, creating seamless automation that saves time and reduces manual work between your field service management and other business systems.
Conclusion
Unlock the power of connectivity with Fergus's new integration with Zapier! Now you can seamlessly link to over 8,000 apps. Take advantage of this seamless integration to streamline your workflows and boost productivity like never before!
