Fergus enables you to customise your invoices to suit your specific needs. Modifying these settings gives you control over the information and presentation of your invoices, ensuring they remain professional and consistent with your brand.
Getting started
To access your Invoicing settings, simply follow these easy steps:
Navigate to Settings on your Fergus account
Select General Settings from the left menu
Click on Invoicing
General Settings
In this section, you can customise how you want the tax calculation method performed on your invoices. You can calculate the tax either at the line item level or the subtotal level. You can also select the default invoice payment terms according to your business needs.
Details Options
You can list the labour and materials in a separate section or together.
You can choose whether to display employees' names on the invoice for labour items.
Labour description
You can choose whether you want the labour description to appear in your section description on the invoice.
You can decide whether to display the labour description on the labour line items of the invoice.
Please note: Changes to the invoice settings will only apply to new invoices created after the settings are updated.
