Uploading a Job Order
You can create a job in Fergus by uploading a work order. Fergus will automatically pull in key details to help you get started faster.
Create a job
In the job creation screen, click Upload work order (top right)
Upload your work order file (PDF)
Review and update the job details as needed
Click Create job
It's that easy! The system will seamlessly generate a new job using the details from your work order, streamlining your process and saving you time.
Creating a New Job
Upon uploading your work order, a new job will be generated using the details you've provided. While work orders can come in many different formats, our advanced AI tool is designed to extract information efficiently. However, there may be instances where it encounters challenges in gathering all the necessary details or fails to retrieve any information due to limitations.
If the AI power tool extracts all the information from the work order, a job will be automatically created for you.
Please note: This feature is powered by AI. Please double-check the information when the job is created to ensure its accuracy
The system is designed to recognize any missing information in the work order. If it detects any gaps, you will be seamlessly directed to the customer details page, allowing you to effortlessly complete the necessary information. This ensures that nothing is overlooked and enhances the overall accuracy of your work.
If the system cannot extract information from the work order, a banner will alert you. To resolve this, please double-check that the work order is valid and is saved as a PDF file. After making these adjustments, try reuploading it for successful processing.
After successfully generating a new job from a work order in Fergus, you can conveniently access and manage all aspects of the job directly from the job card.
