How to create and manage quote and estimate versions in Fergus. Send multiple quote options to your customer with ease!

In Fergus, you can create multiple quote versions for your customers, providing them with flexibility and making the selection process easier.

Creating a Quote Version

  1. Start by creating a draft quote as you normally would.

  2. When you're ready to generate another version, click "Version" in the top left corner.

  3. A new draft will be created where you can make modifications as needed.

  4. You can create as many versions as required to offer different options to your customer.

Publishing and Sending Quote Versions

  • You can publish and send each version individually or wait until all versions are finalised before sending them out.

  • To publish a version, click "Publish" in the top right corner and send it to your customer.

Reviewing and Accepting Quote Versions

  • Customers can review the different versions and accept the one that best suits their needs.

  • To review all available versions, click the version dropdown in the top left of the quote screen.

Note: Only one quote version can be accepted per job.

Handling Changes After Acceptance

  • If a customer has already accepted a quote but later changes their mind, you can easily update the selection.

  • Navigate to Versions, locate the correct one, and click "Accept This Version" to finalise the update.

By utilising multiple quote versions in Fergus, you can enhance customer experience and simplify the quoting process with ease.
