Quoting in Fergus Go

The Fergus Go app simplifies the process of creating quotes on the move. After you set up a job in the app that requires a quote, you can choose to generate the quote immediately or at a later time.

The Quote creation page is made up of:

Simply tap on the Title and Description or Section headers to edit their details.

Tap Add new section at the bottom of the quote. This button always sits below all existing content. You'll be prompted to choose:

Once a section is created, tap Add a line item within that section to add items.

Tap the "Add a line item" button to search for items. From here, you can filter by different suppliers and create custom line items. Note: custom line items created this way are added to the quote only, and they are not saved to your Custom Price Book.

You can access your favourites in two ways:

As a section — Tap Add new section → From favourites. Browse your folders and subfolders, tap on a favourite to open it, adjust the quantities of each line item if needed, then tap Add as section to add the whole scope of work to your quote at once.

As individual line items: Tap Add a line item within a section, then tap the Favourites tab. Browse your folders to find individual items and tap Add to add them one at a time.

In both cases, you can also search for a favourite by name using the search bar — without navigating through folders. The matching favourite will appear at the top of the search results.

You can now edit combined line items directly in Fergus Go. Tap on a combined line item to:

Tap on an individual item within the combined group to edit the finer details -including item name, sales account code, quantity, unit cost, sell price, markup, tax, and discount.

You can build quotes with multiple section types in Fergus Go, just like on desktop. This includes fixed sections, multiple choice sections, and nested subsections - giving your customer options to choose from directly on the quote.
