Overview

Fergus Go allows you to log time that isn’t necessarily chargeable to a customer, both within a job and outside of one. We call this uncharged time.

How To Use It

Adding Uncharged Time to a Job

First, open the relevant job card. Whether you use the timer or manually enter the time, you’ll see the option to include uncharged time.

Fill in the details for your time entry, and select “Add Uncharged Time”. You’ll then specify when the uncharged time started, how long it lasted, and the reason for it.

Once done, click Save to return to the time entry details. Review everything, then click Save again in the top-right corner to finalize the entry. Fergus will record your uncharged time, and it will appear against the job and in your reports.

Adding Uncharged Time via the Timesheet Screen

There may be instances where you want to record uncharged time unrelated to a job, such as sick leave or travel. To do this, go to the Timesheet button at the bottom of your screen and select “Add Uncharged Time” in the centre.

Fill out the details, including a description of the uncharged time, then click Save in the top-right corner. This entry will reflect in Fergus' timesheet reports, so time is recorded even without an associated job.
