A quick overview of the key app pages you'll use most when on the road.

Home Screen
This is the first screen you will land on in the app after logging in.
Job Lists | Description |
Scheduled | The jobs you are scheduled to do today and in the future. With the right permissions, you can filter this view to see the scheduled and assigned jobs of other employees. |
Assigned | These jobs have been assigned to an employee but haven't been scheduled in the calendar yet. |
Unassigned | These jobs have been created in Fergus but haven't been assigned to any employee yet. |
Creating Jobs
You can create jobs whilst on the go by selecting 'Create Job' in the bottom navigation.
Search - Search for jobs and customers.
Timesheet - Summary of time entered. Can be viewed Daily or Weekly. Allows you to add uncharged time entries.
Fergus Go Menu - Located in the bottom-right corner, this reveals more options for navigating Fergus.
Job Cards
View the details of the job from the job and job phase cards.
View customer/site address - can click map pin to go directly to Apple/Google Maps
Start Timer - to track the length of a Job or alternatively, add the time entry by hitting the Blue Plus Button found at the bottom-right corner.
Quick Actions - take multiple actions a job such as logging time, materials and photos from the Blue Plus Button found at the bottom-right corner.
Tools | Description |
Forms | Fill out, assign to employees, and sign Forms. PDFs can also be viewed under Files once your Forms have been submitted. |
Certificates | (Currently available in the UK, AU & NZ) - Add gas, oil and electrical Certificates to jobs. Quickly create, fill out, preview, attach photos, and sign Certificates. |
Quotes | Create a Quick Quote for the job or preview previously created quotes. |
Time Entries | View the time entries, past and present that have been added to the job. |
Assignments & Events | Add or edit the employees that are assigned/scheduled to a job. |
Stock Used | Add stock that was used on the job to ensure costs are calculated correctly. |
Supplier Documents | Create Invoice to come and Credit to come that were purchased for the job from a supplier |
Purchase Orders | Add any materials that you need to order from a supplier that you have an account set up with (Pro feature) |
Hazards | Log and mitigate hazards detected on site. |
Photos | Upload related photos to the job. |
Videos | Upload related videos to the job. |
Files | View files that were uploaded via web version - provided you have an app installed on your device that can handle it. |
Notes | Add any notes to a job so that other staff can view important information. You can tag people using the ‘@’ symbol and then typing the staff member's name. |
Checklists | Add Checklists to the Job to ensure staff have all the tasks and instructions they need to complete a job the way you want it completed. |
Invoices | Create a Quick Invoice for the job. Suitable for creating invoices for maintenance, emergency, and single install type jobs that consist of 1-2 line items.
Collect credit card payments on-site. This is available for accounts with Fergus Pay (credit card payments feature) enabled. |
Quoting, Invoicing & collecting payments on site
Once you have created a job via the app that requires a quote, you can choose to create a quote now or later.
You may Preview the Quote, Save it as Draft, Duplicate the version, and Publish the Quote to email to the customer whilst on the go.
When a job is complete, you can create a quick invoice which will pre-fill with all the labour and materials added to the job. Complete the invoice and collect payment with Fergus Pay (credit card payments feature) enabled.
Fergus Go Menu
Options vary according to plan and permissions. In the menu, you may find:
Enquiries - Create and manage customer job enquiries.
Tasks - Keep track of the things you need to do.
Notifications - Recent changes, updates, or mentions that you need to be aware of.
Noticeboard - Company-wide notices and communication.
Health & Safety - Access your business' Health & Safety details including the officer, policy and medical centres. Stay compliant by logging near misses and accidents.
Settings - Allows you to change the mobile number for two-factor authentication. Enable GPS location on your mobile app. Manage your Push Notifications. Capture your signature for document verification. Enable/disable photos saving to your device.
