Sign-offs are a type of certificate that can be found on the web version of Fergus and the mobile application Fergus Go. To start ensure that your Sign-off certificate is enabled and that the employees required to complete a sign off are enabled.

Settings
Navigate to the settings menu on Fergus web and click on Certification
Then ensure that the Sign-off certificate is enabled. Then click on the > to show all your employees. Then select which users are required to complete the sign-off certificate.
You can also update certificate permissions under settings>users>*select user*>permissions>general.
Using Sign-offs on Web
Once your sign-off certificate is set up you can find it under the Certificates menu on the job card.
Select the time entries you want to include, or manually enter a description of the work.
Add comments and photos. Select who should sign the form, and confirm the date.
Finally click on the camera icon
and upload an image of the signature.
You can then either preview the sign-off or click complete certificate.
Once the signature has been applied, the certificate can not be edited. You can remove the signature to make any changes.
The certificate is saved as a pdf and can be emailed to the customer.
You are also able to duplicate and delete the certificate.
Using Sign-offs on Fergus Go
First select Certificate from the menu on the job card and chose Sign-off.
Select the time entries you want to include, or manually enter a description of the work. And add any additional comments you want to include.
Select who should sign the form. Confirm the site address and the date the work was completed. Then tap on the signature box and you are able to capture the signature directly on your phone. Or follow these instructions to save a copy of your signature.
Once the form has been signed, the certificate can not be edited unless the signature is removed. Once complete you can preview the pdf and send a copy to the customer.
