Unlock the power of Fergus to effortlessly send Quote and Estimate reminders to your customers via SMS and email. This essential feature not only accelerates job acceptance but also keeps your customers informed and engaged. Stay ahead of the competition and ensure your clients have all the reminders they need to make timely decisions!

Getting Started

Here is how to set up Quote/ Estimate reminders:

  • Navigate to your profile icon next to Help (?). Then, click on ⚙ Settings.

  • Scroll down to Reminders.

  • Enable the SMS, Email, or both reminders for Quote/ Estimate

  • Select the frequency at which you want the reminders sent to your customer.

Below are the options you can choose from:

  • On the expiry date

  • 1 day before expiry date

  • 5 days before expiry date

  • 7 days before expiry date

  • 10 days before expiry date

  • 14 days before expiry date

Using the reminder option, you can notify your customers a few days before their quote expires, on the due date, or at multiple intervals. Choose the best timing for you. This will help your clients stay on track and ensure they don’t miss important deadlines.

Quote/ Estimate Reminder Template

With this feature, you can change or update the Quote/ Estimate reminder email or SMS that will be sent to your customers. This allows you to personalise the messages to suit your business better. Here is how to edit the Quote/ Estimate reminder templates:

  • Email Settings Instructions:

  1. Click on the Email Settings button at the top of the reminder page.

  2. You will be directed to the email settings page. From there, navigate to the Email Template section.

  3. In this section, you will find various email templates for editing.

  4. Select the template titled "Send quote reminder to customer".

  5. Make your desired updates to the template, and be sure to click "Save" to apply the changes.

  • SMS Settings:

  1. Click on the SMS Settings button at the top of the reminder page.

  2. You will be directed to the SMS settings page. From there, navigate to the Template section.

  3. In this section, you will find various SMS templates for editing.

  4. Select the "Quote/Estimate reminder" template.

  5. Make your desired updates to the template, and be sure to click "Save" to apply the changes.

Please note: You can disable quote or estimate reminders for a specific customer on the customer settings page.
