Overview

The Fergus Go app simplifies the process of creating quotes and invoices while on the move. After you set up a job in the app that requires a quote, you can choose to generate the quote immediately or at a later time. Once the job is completed, you can quickly create an invoice that includes all the labour and materials associated with the job.

How to Create a Quick Quote in Fergus Go

The Quote creation page is made up of:

  • The quote status (i.e. Draft or Published, and whether it has been sent or not to the customer)

  • The title and description

  • The section title and description

  • The line's items

  • The totals

Please Note: To keep things simple, when creating quotes in Fergus Go, you will only have the ability to create one section. You can create more complex quotes with multiple sections in the desktop app.

Simply tap on the Title and Description or Section headers to edit their details.

Tap on the 'Add a line item' button to search for your favourite suppliers. From here you can filter by different suppliers and create custom line items.

You may Preview the Quote, Save it as a Draft, Duplicate the version, and Publish the Quote to email to the customer whilst on the go.

How to Create a Quick Invoice in Fergus Go

When a job is complete, you can create a quick invoice that will be filled with all the labour and materials added to the job.

Navigate to the 'Invoices' tool in a Job Card and tap the '+ Quick Invoice' button.

The Invoice creation page is made up of:

  • The invoice status (i.e. Draft)

  • The title and description

  • The section title and description

  • The line's items

  • The totals

Please Note: As with quotes, to keep things simple, when creating invoices in Fergus Go, you will only have the ability to create one section. You can create more complex invoices with multiple sections in the desktop app.

However, if you are invoicing for multiple job phases, we will auto-create sections for each job phase for you.

Simply tap on the Title and Description or Section headers to edit their details.

Tap on the 'Add a line item' button to search for your favourite suppliers. From here you can filter by different suppliers and create custom line items.

Complete the invoice and collect payment with Fergus Pay (credit card payments feature) enabled.
