To change your Fergus plan, click on your Profile icon next to Help (?) then click on ⚙ Settings.

From there, head to Billing and click Manage Plans.

Billing Adjustments Due to User Status Changes

If you change a user's role (e.g., from a Full User to a Contractor) or disable a user, the Full User fee applies until the end of the billing month. Adjusted rates or no charges for disabled users take effect from the next month's billing cycle.

Why Am I Billed for Users Disabled in a Previous Month?

Fergus bills in arrears, meaning charges for users disabled mid-month appear on the invoice for the next month. For example, disabling users in August will still result in charges on the September invoice, but subsequent invoices will exclude these charges.

Upgrading

If you're upgrading, your new plan will take effect immediately.
Your monthly bill will only charge the new plan from the day you upgrade.

Additionally, Fergus follows a monthly billing cycle and bills in arrears. This means that any adjustments for upgrading your plan are reflected in the following month's billing invoice, ensuring transparency and billing consistency.

Downgrading

If you're changing to a plan with fewer features (such as Basic), select the plan to request a plan change.

You can use all features in your current plan until the end of the month, and the new plan and pricing will start on the 1st of the following month.

Fergus operates on an arrears billing system. Hence, if you downgrade your plan, any charges for the higher-tier plan will still be reflected on your invoice for the current month. The reduced pricing of the downgraded plan will only apply from the 1st of the subsequent month.
