What is the GDPR?

The EU General Data Protection Regulation is a new data protection law that came into effect on May 25th 2018. It provides stronger protection of a user's data and introduces new processes that companies must implement to better manage this data.

How does this affect me?

If you hold or process data of EU individuals then the GDPR will apply to you, regardless of your business location.

Is Fergus compliant?

Yes, Fergus is GDPR compliant.

Exporting user data

We've introduced new export options for all Full users which will send a request to our team to process. This export will be provided as a compressed file and will contain all of your businesses data. As a new security measure, requesting this export will also send a notification to all Master Admin users.

Right to be Forgotten

Invoking the right to be forgotten will send a request through to our team to process and implement the successful invocation, usually resulting in data deletion. Requesting the right to be forgotten will also send a notification to all Master Admin users as a security measure.
