Fergus integrates with L&H to eliminate double-handling and streamline your workflow. By enabling this integration, your price books and invoices will update automatically in Fergus without any manual effort.
Setting Up the Integration
Step 1: Enable the Integration in Fergus
In Fergus, click on the profile icon in the top-right corner and navigate to Settings.
In the left-hand menu, select Integration Centre.
Locate L&H in the list of suppliers and click on it.
Click Enable in the centre of the screen.
Once enabled, a unique email address will be generated. This email address is essential for receiving invoices and price books from your supplier.
Important: Each supplier has a unique email address within Fergus. Make sure to use the correct email found in their integration settings.
Step 2: Set Up Automatic Invoices
Log in to your L&H supplier portal.
Navigate to My Account and select Downloads.
Click Select Format on the right-hand side and choose Fergus Invoice Export.
Click Schedule.
Choose the frequency of invoice delivery. Hourly is recommended.
Enter your business email address in the Notification Email field.
Paste the unique Fergus email address into the File Recipient Email field.
Tick the Enabled checkbox and click Save Schedule.
Your invoices will now be automatically imported into Fergus.
Step 3: Set Up Automatic Price Books
In the L&H supplier portal, navigate to My Account > Downloads.
Select Fergus Catalog Export in the top-right corner and click on the Schedule tab.
Choose the frequency of price book updates. Monthly is recommended to keep pricing up to date.
Enter your business email address in the Notification Email field.
Paste the unique Fergus email address into the File Recipient Email field.
Select the type of price file to import. Recommended options include:
Items purchased in the last 12 months
Your own list
State Top 1000
Tick the Enabled checkbox and click Save Schedule.
Note: Avoid selecting the full price file, as it may be too large for Fergus to process.
